What is Stelloprint?

OR: HOW I LEARNED TO STOP WORRYING AND IGNORE THE MAN IN THE LABCOAT

Pugile in Reposo (statue of an Italian Boxer)

Welcome to this blogging experience. Content will mostly focus around my work in web development, data and visual analytics. Other interests such such as languages, history and energy may also be featured on the blog section of this site (coming soon). Commentary and advice are provided via thoughtful posts, always aiming towards honesty.

This is primarily a business blog, so I promise to keep it professional, however expect some personality here and there. At times coherent and well laid out. Other times more of a stream of consciousness (or rants).

Who is Stelloprint?

Stephen Price

I am Stephen Price, I am Stelloprint.
This is probably the hardest post to write well. Not for a lack of content but mainly because I am currently in a process of discovering who I am and so far I have not found the finish line. Maybe such a thing does not exist...maybe there is no finish line. If it does exist then I wouldn't mind some directions: north, south. At the end of the hall and then take a left. Out the window and face first into the pavement.

However, I have a feeling that your finish line is different from my own and if I do take your directions then I may have to circle around to where I started. Sometimes I miss my hometown of Quito, Ecuador.

For brevity's sake and for those of you who wouldn't care to read longer than a few paragraphs here is the tl;dr:

I am a former data visualization and API design solutions consultant that aspires to master creative digital technologies. I want to learn how things work because I like to build and create. I want to build beautiful experiences and master the craft of web development.

This blog exists so that I may share my experiences with anyone who cares to read about them, and I hope that a few of you may find its content useful for your own projects.
